Ignacio Vasallo the Director of the Spanish Tourist Office spoke highly about bringing the event to Liverpool saying: “In bringing the successful ‘A Taste of Spain’ event to Liverpool we hope to impart our passion not only for food and wine, but for dance and celebration too. We hope that the people of Liverpool will go away having learnt a bit more about what makes Spanish culture so special. With so many UK visitors heading to Spain each year this event will showcase the variety of reasons the country is so appealing. I’m excited about what is planned for the weekend and feel it will add to the ongoing strong love affair between the UK and Spain!”
